A bespoke Shopify 2.0 Website for Origin Coffee, one of the UK's longest-standing specialty coffee roasters. Designed in collaboration with Eastside.
As Origin have grown their previous Shopify site was no longer meeting their needs, so they commissioned Eastside to build a custom site that would carry them into the future.
After a comprehensive UX review by Eastside, we set the creative direction for the site designing key pages, sections, UI components and a dev style guide for desktop and mobile. With a vastly improved user experience the Shopify 2.0 site is a major upgrade for Origin's e-commerce capabilities.

As part of the brief we conceptualised Origin’s Loyalty programme “The Circle”, providing the name and creating the online look and feel.
The programme encourages customer retention by rewarding points based on their purchases. These points then qualify customers for free subscription perks and discounts on future purchases.
The awesome illustrations are by Marcus Oakley. They feature heavily throughout the site and on Origin's packaging. The site release coincided with the latest packaging drop.
Colour Palette
We designed a custom UI icon set to be used across the site. We also created a complementary suite of icons related to coffee sourcing, brewing and accolades.
